Rules
1) Each week -- usually Wednesday night or Thursday morning -- send out the lines on all Division I-A
football games. Those lines stand for the weekend
You can choose from any of the games listed.
2) Your $50 (real dollar) entry fee gets you 1,000
"Francs" to gamble with for the season.
3) Each week you must bet at least 100 francs, but
no more than 250 francs. If you don't bet a week you will get the 100 franc defualt bet picked at random before the weekend begins.
4) You are allowed to make up to FOUR bets each week
in increments of 25 francs.
5) Parlays are allowed in 2-,3- and 4-four game
groupings. A parlay counts as one bet. The payouts,
however, are not as generous as Vegas. 2-team parlay
pays 1.5 to 1. 3-team parlay pays 3 to 1. 4-team
parlay pays 5 to 1. (If you don't understand
parlays, ask me or a veteran CFGLer.)
6) Tying the spread (or over/under) is a PUSH in
single-game bet. Ties get thrown out in parlays
(e.g. if you bet a four-teamer and one was a tie, it drops
to a three-team parlay for payout).
7) Bets must be received by 10 a.m. MT on Saturday
morning (or prior to kickoff if you're betting
Thursday or Friday games).
8) A sample bet (note: Please submit in the
following way, with the amount of the bet, the team you're
betting on and the line.)
